Roles

Roles

Different roles are available for Cybersecure devices:

  • The "Owner" role is a unique and powerful position that controls the breaker’s protection settings and advanced features. This role can assign roles to others, remove users, and is exclusive to one individual per breaker.
  • An "Admin" is a key role that not only oversees the protection settings and advanced features of circuit breakers but also has the authority to delegate roles to other users. This role is pivotal in maintaining system integrity and managing user access.
  • An "Engineer" is entrusted with the responsibility of managing the protection settings of circuit breakers and utilizing their advanced features in the Tools section. This role involves enhancing system efficiency and ensuring safety through these settings and functionalities.
  • An "Operator" is in charge of controlling the safety measures of a circuit breaker, performing basic operations and tests. They can access and modify its fundamental features to guarantee maximum efficiency and security.
  • A "Viewer" is meant for users to see all settings and information within a system without the ability to make any changes. This role is designed for those who need to stay informed without having the ability to alter any configurations or data.

The "Viewer" role is the default one, which will be assigned to a user when he connects to a device for which he does not have a specific role.

Each role gives access to some specific features, as shown in the following table:
