Modules

This page let the user configure additional modules of the device by selecting the Communication or the Signalling modules.

Note: the modules appear if the auxiliary power supply is present on the Ekip Supply module and if the “Local bus” parameter is enabled. Please refer to the device manual for information on enabling it.

Area for input and output parameters
  • Status: commands to enable or disable an input/output
  • Configuration: parameters to configure an input/output

  • Signal reset: button to reset the signal
  • Start autotest: button to start lighting up the LEDs on the module to check whether the inputs/outputs are enabled

Note: function only available if the operating mode status is Local (Information).

Configure an additional module

  1. Click on the button corresponding to the type of module to be configured (CommunicationorSignal).
Note: only buttons corresponding to module types physically installed on the device are enabled
  1. If there are several modules, select the module you want to configure.
  2. Enter the parameters.
  3. To transfer the configuration to the device, click on Apply: a message appears with the result of the operation.
Note: if the operation fails, check the status of the operating mode (Operating mode).
