Troubleshooting

The solutions to potential problems that may arise when Ekip Connect is used are listed below.
Problem
Cause
Solution
“Device not found” is displayed after a Serial scan.
  • Device not connected
  • Device off.
  • Drivers not installed.
  • Connect the device and repeat the scan.
  • If connected, make sure that the device is on, then repeat the scan.
  • If the device is connected and on, see “Installing drivers for ABB key scanning”.
“Ekip T&P not present” or “Ekip Programming not present” appear after an ABB key T&P scan.  
You are asked to connect the connector or reinstall the driver.
 
Check that the connector is connected: if it is not, connect it, click on Cancel, then shut-down and rerun Ekip Connect. Otherwise, if it is connected, see "Installing drivers for ABB key scanning".
